Comments about ArmorMount Swivel TV Mount for 32~50 inch Plasma & LCD (Single Arm):
I bought this to put a 46" LCD TV in a corner. So I mounted it to the first two studs from the corner, roughly 16 and 32 inches. It's extra reach was the selling point. It works perfectly. I can adjust the viewing angle in the corner for any couch position, but currently have it at about 30 degree (or 60 degree from the other couch) angle.
A couple points on the instructions. The instructions didn't say to put the round thumbscrews in for adjusting TV tilt before you hang the TV up (unless I missed this somewhere). Do it or you'll have to take the TV down to put them on.
Also, the instructions say to drill a 3/16" hole 2 1/2" deep (my best recollection) for the lag bolts that go into the studs. But my drill bit was only about 2 3/4" - 3" long. That worked fine for the first two holes, but then I mounted the whole thing so I could use it as a template for the remaining holes. The bottom two are close to a flange that kept my drill from going all the way in. Anyway, so I didn't get the full pilot hole depth and broke one of the lag bolts -- sheared it -- after getting it all but 1/4" from all the way in. Perhaps I hit something and it broke for that reason, but I advise you make sure you get a full 2 1/2" depth pilot hole.
